As I am an adult, I watch mainly movies for adults. I assume that if you are interested in my reviews, you are also an adult. Therefore, the movies I review, and sometimes my writing, are not really kid friendly.
As the Tag cloud just to the right -> probably indicates, my cinematic preferences are mainly foreign and/or classic films, but to elaborate:
Types of movies I love the hell out of:
Martial arts, crime/gangster films, war movies, samurai cinema – both chanbara (samurai action) and jidaigeki (period dramas), anime, exploitation cinema, monster movies, cult classics/cheesy movies, some horror (zombies especially), and anything with a shit ton of violence, fighting/swordplay and/or gushing blood.
Types of movies I'm not so keen on:
Westerns (except for Leone/Clint Eastwood), romantic comedies, romances of any kind really (unless everyone dies in the end), remakes of foreign and/or old films, most of the hackneyed crap put out by Hollywood these days.
